June 28, 2010: I lost 3 pounds this weekend. Jealous? Don't be.

June 25, 2010: The neighbor girl asked me today why I drink so much beer. I told her it was how I get through my day.

June 24, 2010: I'm having a hard time getting anything done because all I want to do is be outside and take long walks in the beautiful weather and watch my kids play in the water. Summer, I love you.

June 23, 2010: Seth went to the dentist this morning and had his teeth cleaned. He was such a big, brave boy. The dentist said he had Beautiful Teeth. No cavities for the Johnson's today!

June 22, 2010: I haven't written about our weekend yet because there are so many pictures. I decided I'd better just grab some real quick or I would never get around to it. So here it goes.

Friday was Maybe Baby's birthday. We celebrated by going out to lunch at Tucanos (more for me and dad than her although the girl does like her meat). Then it was home for naps so we would be all rested up for her party. Gramma & Grampa Johnson came over as well as all the cousins to par-tay.

Saturday was my birthday. I woke up early and went to the salon to get my hair done...something that was very badly needed. Then it was up to the cousins house for a backyard picnic and water playing.

Father's Day was pretty uneventful around here. I think we were all tired from partying. We did go for a relaxing walk up the canyon and I took the camera but left it in the car. I don't think we ended up eating dinner until 9 or so at night. Ryan licked his plate clean so I must have done something right.

Today Maybe and Zachary went to the doctor for their well child checks. Maybe is 28.5 pounds and 35.5 inches tall. That puts her at the 75th percentile for both. I was a little surprised at her height percentile. She's so tall I thought it would be higher! She only had to get one shot and fought to the end being held down, but didn't cry any harder when she got poked so I don't think she even felt it. Zachary weighed in at 12 pounds 12 ounces which is 50th percentile and 22.5 inches tall putting him a little below that. Everything about Zachary came in as average so he's healthy and thriving. He got three shots but from the picture I think it's safe to say he's doing all right.

June 18, 2010: Happy Birthday Maybe Baby...or should I say Maybe Toddler =). I can't believe you've only been in our lives for two short years because I can't remember life without you and I can't imagine your beautiful face not being here. I love you so much. You are one fiesty, spunky, independent girl who brings us so much happiness. Our family wouldn't be complete without you. I can't wait to celebrate you all day today!

June 17, 2010:

Silliness

June 16, 2010: Z is two months today! That went incredibly fast. I guess I have to stop saying to myself, "I'm fat because I just had a baby". Crap =) Zachary is starting to look like Zachary. He's starting to get his own features and I must say he is one handsome dood. Pictures don't do him justice. You just gotta see this guy in person.

Z is starting to smile. I heard Seth even made him giggle the other night.

So get this. Today I walked in on Seth changing Maybe's diaper! It was awesome. Apparently he did it yesterday too...I just didn't believe them when they told me that he had done it. Let's see what else. Seth is starting to read. He's sounding out the letters and actually understanding what he is saying. That is so exciting!

June 14, 2010: I finally dumped my phone pics onto my computer so here's some picture randomness.

Sleeping Beauty

Learn to park freaks! I was 9 months pregnant and actually got stuck between my van on the left and the retard's Suburban as my door was opening. There was a brief moment of panic as my unborn baby was being squished. If you can't handle your vehicle get a smaller car! I seriously don't understand people who have no consideration for others.

These make staying in the hospital so worth it.

Z chillin'

Z's first blowout.

Z watching brother and sister play in the pool.

No shame

We're sick here at the Johnson home. I think me and Z win for the most miserable. It all started with Seth having a cough last Sunday and now Maybe, me and Zachary have some nasty cold bug. I can tell Zachary's throat hurts because of his scratchy, sad cries. So so sad. Hopefully we'll get over this fast because we have a big busy weekend coming up! It doesn't sound fun now, but as long as we're all healthy by Friday it will be a great weekend.

June 6, 2010: Here's some highlights from our weekend. Friday night the cousins invited us over for a weenie roast.

Mabes spent most of her time on the swing.

This is the same night, just a little later. It was cute to see them all lined up.

Wendy will have to forgive me for posting this picture, and you have to look kinda close but I love this picture of Maren. Her hair is WILD.

I like Mabes in this one.

Cousin Maren wanted to hold Z so bad but then when she got to she had that look on her face. Made me laugh.

On our way home from the cousins we stopped to see some construction work on the freeway. They were moving a bridge in place and it's a big deal and several hundred people came to watch. It was super windy so we didn't stay too long, but the kids had fun seeing the diggers and tractors.

Saturday we drove out to a local lake where they were having a festival to promote the State Park at the lake. We missed a lot of the fun events and got super sun burnt. It was still fun to get out of the house and be outside.

Then came Sunday. It was not such a good day in the Johnson home. Seth was being difficult all morning which made me grumpy before we even got to church. I had to take Zachary out several times, Maybe bit Seth at church and Seth got kicked out of nursery because apparently he has a cough. He didn't have a cough before nursery. That was fun (sarcasm). It was suppose to be a fun day because me and Maybe had on matching outfits. I'm not sure anyone even noticed. I didn't even get a picture of us. Oh well. Ryan new we were lookin' cute.

June 4, 2010: Yesterday I was holding Z and couldn't help notice how chunky monkey he's gotten.

Yesterday was also the day we finally got our pool out.

Ever since Zachary was born Seth has been wanting matching outfits. Thanks to Lehi Gramma his wish came true. My boys are so stinkin' cute!

June 3, 2010: It sure makes me happy when Mabes lets me help pick out her clothes AND do her hair. It drives me BANANAS when her hair is hanging down in her eyes.

June 2, 2010: Today Zachary had his first real smile and giggle session with her. Here's another picture of her:

I figured I'd get a Blast From the Past in. He was loving her! What a little flirt.
